I welcome you to my world

hi
+ Over the mountains and the sea

It is so much safer not to feel, not to let the world touch me.
it's been a week that moved too fast!
busy with work amongst rest week (oh the irony)
bali trip was ruined partly because of the work just growing.
but nevertheless i had fun and grew slightly darker
despite my best efforts to slap on as much sunblock every now and then.
the sun is unforgiving as the night winds are.

i loved that bali has hidden gems as you walk on.
the more i walked the more unassuming it gets, from one unlikely road to the other
we found our way to this pretty aisle and guess where it led us to?

never ending fields of padi
oh yes, it was majestic a view. we didn't walk all the way to the end
but given the fact that we were there at midday and it wasn't so humid, walk was bearable
wasn't in proper shoes thou, and we got burnt slightly

we got excited watching and (almost) chasing ducks along the way.
locals there were smiling as we walked past.
ubud is definitely peaceful and wonderful a place to meditate.
with a vibrant ubud center filled with cafes and local food alike,
it seems to appease the different people that come by here for different reasons
from organic food and juices, to gelato, to grilled seafood and luwak coffee,
there is definitely something here to please everyone.

a special shout out to the amazing receptionist at our villa,
Mr Adi Suasta, thank you for your warm hospitality
you definitely made our stay a much more pleasant one
And, thank you so much for surprising us with breakfast by our pool on our last morning.
Food quality would need lots of work but your effort were much appreciated.
